Can I see my electronic patient record?
Yes, you will however need to email us your request from your DrAdvice mail box providing your full name and date of birth, where upon a doctor will review your request and contact you using your regular email address. Once the doctor has confirmed your identity, the doctor will arrange for you to obtain a copy of your records. There is an administrative charge of £10 for this service.
How do I get my details removed from your system?
Your electronic patient record is a copy of your full name, date of birth and a record of all yours questions and their respective answers. We are unable to delete this, as this is the only record our doctors have of the advice given. For medico-legal reasons this data cannot be removed, as doctors are required to keep accurate records of all consultations. Instead your electronic patient record will remain dormant. As stated above, your electronic patient record is never disclosed to any third party.
Your email however will be removed from our mailing list and we will ensure you are no longer contacted by the DrAdvice website. To have your email removed, please email us with the address you wish to have removed, or you can unsubscribe from one of our newsletter.
