This blood test looks at several auto antibodies (ANA, ENA, dsDNA, Rheumatoid factor etc.) that if significantly raised, indicate the bodies’ immune system might be attacking its own tissues.

When would I need this test?

Doctors request these blood tests when autoimmune conditions (for example Lupus, and Rhuematoid arthritis) are suspected. Autoimmune disease’s often present with joint and muscle symptoms, patients may also get symptoms that reflect damage to organs like the heart, lungs and skin.
